TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
2 sticks butter
5 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

5 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1 lb. (3 1/2 c.) powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
5 tbsp. milk or more

In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar and salt. Set aside. Bring to a boil in saucepan, the water, butter and 5 tablespoons cocoa. Add hot mixture to flour mixture. Stir well and add milk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Pour into buttered 12x18 inch cookie sheet with sides. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost while hot.

FROSTING: Melt butter, add rest of ingredients and stir well. Keep adding drops of milk to spreading consistency. Makes 60 brownies.
