TIN CAN ICE CREAM 
1 c. milk
1 c. cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Optional fruit, chocolate syrup
Rock salt
Ice

Mix in #1 can with tight lid. Put into #2 can with tight lid. Put ice into #2 can around the #1 can which is filled with the ice cream. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup rock salt. Roll can for 10 minutes. Open and stir ice cream. Drain water from ice and add more ice and salt. Roll 10 minutes more. May put into freezer to harden more.
