TOASTY TUNA CASSEROLE 
12 slices sandwich bread, crusts removed and toasted
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna, drained
1 sm. onion, chopped (about 1/4 c.)
1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
6 slices process American cheese
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup
1/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt

Arrange 6 slices toast in ungreased oblong baking dish, 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inches, or oblong pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Mix tuna, onion, and mayonnaise; spread over toast in dish. Top each slice toast with 1 slice cheese; place remaining slices toast on cheese.

Mix remaining ingredients; pour on center of toast, spreading to within 2 inches of edges. Cook, uncovered, in 350 degree oven until hot and bubbly, 25 to 30 minutes. 6 servings.
