HOT SPINACH DRESSING 
1/2 lb. bacon
1/2 c. chopped green onions
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1 c. cold water
1 tbsp. corn starch
Sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)

Fry bacon crisp, remove, add onions, cook until crisp, then add sugar, vinegar. Mix corn starch with water, add to cooked mixture, stir until thick, add cut up bacon, mushrooms (optional) and serve over cleaned torn up fresh spinach leaves.
