ONION CASSEROLE 
5 lg. sweet onions, sliced
15-20 Ritz crackers, crushed
1 lb. hamburger
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
3 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven at 400 degrees; place half of the onions on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer with crushed crackers, hamburger and 3 tablespoons of butter. Then put remaining onions, soup and cheese. You may want to add more butter when baking. Bake for 1 hour or until onions are golden.
