Lasagna noodles, uncooked 1/2 lg. onion Salt and pepper to taste 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 1 tsp. Italian seasoning 2 tsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. minced garlic 1 qt. Prego sauce (your choice) 1 lb. hamburger, cooked 8 slices American cheese 1 c. hot water Mix salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, sugar, and garlic in Prego sauce. Pour 1 1/2 cups of sauce into 9x12 pan. Add a layer of uncooked noodles. Add 1/2 of meat; sprinkle onions over meat. Add cottage cheese. Pour another 1 1/2 cups sauce on, then another layer of noodles, then the rest of the meat. Put American cheese over the top and add remaining sauce, then the Mozzarella cheese. Press down. Pour hot water over top evenly, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees. Remove foil and bake until done. |
