PICANTE SAUCE 
4 qt. peeled & chopped tomatoes
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
4 peppers (hot), chopped
1 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. brown sugar
3 1/2 tsp. canning salt
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tbsp. lemon juice

Cook 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours. Put in pint jars and cold pack 10 minutes.
