MEAT STUFFING FOR 12 TO 15
POUNDS OF TURKEY
 
2 lbs. hamburger
1 pkg. pork sausage
1 1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper
Mashed potatoes or instant potatoes (12 servings)

In a 5 quart pot, mix all ingredients except mashed potatoes. Cook until brown and onions and celery are soft. Pour off a little more than half of the liquids. Return to heat for about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat and add potatoes. Mix well. Stuff turkey.

MAY USE AS POT PIE:

Mix same as stuffing but add some carrots. Make pie crust for 2 layers. Cook at 425 degrees for 30 minutes until crust is brown.
