GRANOLA 
1 1/2 c. oats, quick or old fashioned
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. wheat germ
1/4 c. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
Coconut, dates, raisins, apricots, sunflower seeds

Place oats in a microwave safe 9 inch square baking dish. Microwave at full power for 1 to 2 minutes. Mix in nuts, wheat germ, honey and vanilla. Microwave uncovered at full power for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring 3 times

Add additional add-ins. Stir occasionally as granola cools. Store airtight. Makes about 3 cups. Microwave times may have to be adjusted depending on wattage.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
