SWEET BUTTER POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. sweet butter
2 c. sugar
6 lg. eggs
2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. flour

Cream butter well and gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time. On slow speed, add vanilla. Sift flour and measure, add by folding in a little at a time by hand. Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan, pour in batter. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes or until done.
