ANGEL SLICES 
DOUGH:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

ICING:

1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
Lemon juice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1/4 cup sugar. Beat in 1 egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Combine 1 1/2 cup flour and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Add dry ingredients in 3 parts to butter mixture; blend well. Using hands, pat dough evenly into greased 9x12 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes.

Mix together topping ingredients. Spread baked dough with this mixture. Return to oven for 25 minutes. When cool, ice with 1 1/2 cup sifted confectioners' sugar thinned to spreading consistency with lemon juice. Cut into bars.
