NECTARINE BLUEBERRY BREAD 
1/4 c. chopped almonds
1 tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 medium nectarine, peeled, coarsely chopped (about 2/3 c.)
1/2 c. chopped almonds
1 tsp. finely shredded orange peel
1/4 c. orange juice
1/2 c. blueberries

Stir together almonds and 1 Tbsp. sugar. Set aside. Beat together all remaining ingredients. Pour into greased pans (2 medium foil pans). Sprinkle almonds and sugar over batter.

Bake at 350°F for 55 minutes. Cool 5 minutes and remove from pan.
