PORK CHOPS A LA CREOLE 
8 pork chops
1 onion
4 cloves garlic
Parsley to taste or for color
1 sm. can tomatoes (or 4 lg. tomatoes)
Pepper to taste

APPLESAUCE MIXTURE:

1 can applesauce
1/4 c. sugar or comparable sugar substitute
Cinnamon to taste

Brown pork chops. Set aside. Brown the onions. Add tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add garlic, pepper and parsley. Add 5 cups of water; allow to cook for 20 minutes. Add the pork chops and spoon the gravy over them. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until hot. Top the pork chops with applesauce mixture and serve over fluffy rice.
