GREEK-STYLE PITAS | |
1/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt 2 tsp. vinegar 1 tsp. fresh dill, snipped 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 cup thinly sliced cucumber 1/2 small red onion, halved, thinly sliced 1/2 cup chopped plum tomato 4 (6-inch) whole wheat pita rounds 10 oz thinly sliced deli turkey In a bowl, combine yogurt, vinegar, dill, and sugar. Add cucumber, red onion, and tomato. Toss gently to coat set aside. Cut pita bread in half crosswise. Open pita halves to make pockets. Line pockets with turkey.
