JEWISH APPLE CAKE | |
4 or 5 apples, sliced and peeled Put in bowl, mix with 3/4 cup sugar and l tablespoon cinnamon. 4 c. flour 2 c. sugar 4 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 c. orange juice 1 c. oil 4 eggs Put above ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Grease and flour tube pan. Pour 1/2 batter in pan and top with about 3/4 apples. Pour rest of batter on top and top with remaining apples. Bake 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. |
