ROLLED DUMPLINGS 
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk

Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening. Add milk to make a stiff dough. Knead a little. Roll out to about 1/8 inch thickness and cut into 1 inch squares or 1 to 1 1/2 inch strips. Sprinkle lightly with flour and drop into boiling chicken stock. Cover closely and boil gently for 8 to 10 minutes or longer. Serves 6 to 8.
