BUTTERSCOTCH PIE 
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. water
5 tbsp. flour (S R)
2 eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. cold water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. butter
Dash of salt, thicken in double boiler
Chopped nuts if desired
1 cooked pie shell

Spread with meringue and bake at 400 degrees until brown.
