About 1 lb. fresh or stewed fruit About 3 oz. biscuits 1 packet pudding powder, vanilla or almond flavor (not instant pudding) 1 1/2 oz. sugar 1 pt. milk Put the fruit into a large glass bowl or several small custard glasses and cover with a layer of biscuits. Blend the pudding powder and the sugar with 6 tablespoons of the milk. Bring the rest of the milk to a boil, remove from heat and stir in the prepared pudding mixture. Return to heat and bring again to a boil. Pour the pudding over the biscuits. |
