BAKLAVA 
1 1/2 lbs. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 lb. filo leaves
1 1/4 lb. butter, melted

Combine chopped nuts, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves in mixing bowl. Unroll filo leaves; cover with a damp cloth. Brush pan with melted butter and brush each layer of leaves with butter. Arrange 6 layers of leaves in pan; put on a heaping cup of nuts. Add 4 layers and then approximately 1/4 cup nuts and end with 5 to 6 layers filo leaves. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut Baklava into 2 inch diamonds. Bake until golden, approximately 1 hour.

Make Cinnamon Honey Syrup: 2 c. water 3 cinnamon sticks 1/2 c. honey Lemon and grated rind

Combine sugar, water, cinnamon sticks, and lemon. Boil and leave on warm for 45 minutes (options of adding honey and boiling with the above mixture). Pour over Baklava and let set at least 8 hours.
