BANANA MERINGUE PIE 
1/3 c. flour
1 1/4 c. water
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 tbsp. Promise
1 recipe banana meringue (2 egg whites, 1 banana, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla)
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs, separated
1/4 tsp. grated peel
1 baked pie shell

Mix sugar and flour. Add water and mix. Put over medium high heat and cook stirring frequently. When thick, remove from heat and while beating yolks add hot liquid. Return to pan and cook until thickened more add butter, lemon juice and grated peel and mix well. Let cool.

Beat two egg whites until stiff. Add 1/3 cup sugar and mashed banana and vanilla beat thoroughly. Pour lemon filling into baked pie shell and top with meringue. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
