ALMOND BARK 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate morsels
1 tbsp. Crisco type shortening (do not substitute butter)
1/2 c. almonds (sliced or whole)
1/2 c. raisins

Melt morsels and shortening slowly. (Microwave works well.) Add almonds and raisins. Spread on waxed paper cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Slice with fork. Move to refrigerator for 30 minutes. Break up and store in covered container in a cool space.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
