KUGELI 
1 lb. bacon
3 med. onions
5 lbs. red potatoes
3 eggs, beat until fluffy
3 c. warm milk
Salt & pepper to taste

Dice bacon, fry until brown and crisp. Add chopped onions. Set aside to cool. Peel and grate potatoes. Pour off excess water. Add milk and eggs, mix. Add cooled bacon and onions (bacon drippings also). Mix salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan or until golden brown. Serve squares with sour cream or applesauce.
