CARAMEL CHECK MIX 
1 box Rice Chex
1 box Corn Chex
1 box Crispix
1 box raisins (golden)
2 bags pecan halves
1 bag coconut

Mix and divide into 2 large brown grocery bags.

COATING:

1 lb. butter
1 c. white corn syrup
2 lbs. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt

Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 2 teaspoons vanilla. Pour into the grocery bags and toss until well coated. Fold the tops of the bags down and heat one at a time in the microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove and shake the bag. Cook another 1 1/2 minutes on high. Repeat this process again. Do the same with the other bag. Spread on kitchen table to cool. You can store snack in cereal boxes and you may freeze it. If you use regular oven, place on large cookie sheet and bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
