1 box Sure-Jell
1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 c. sugar

Place figs in large kettle. Cover figs with water; cook until tender. Add Sure-Jell, gelatin and sugar. Cook, stirring frequently, until figs are translucent and syrup is thick. Pour preserves into sterilized jars and seal. Yields 4 pints.
