PINK BUTTERMILK SALAD 
1 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 lg. carton Cool Whip (12 oz.)
1 c. chopped pecans
5 to 7 large bananas
Red food coloring

Beat sugar and buttermilk in large bowl, fold in bananas (mashed), pecans and Cool Whip. Add red color to make pink. Mix well.

Freeze in 9 by 13 Pyrex or any pretty salad bowl. Serve plain or garnish with strawberries, and slices of kiwi fruit.

Variation: Add 8 1/2 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained.
