CHINESE STYLE FRIED RICE 
1 1/3 c. water
1 1/3 c. instant rice
1 beaten egg
3 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
2-3 tbsp. soy sauce

Bring 1 cup water to a boil in saucepan. Stir in rice. Remove from heat, cover and let stand 5 minutes. In a 10" skillet cook onion, green pepper and mushrooms in butter until tender. Add egg and cook until set. Add the rice and cook and stir over medium heat until rice is lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Combine remaining 1/3 cup water and soy sauce, stir into rice.
