1 stick butter 1/2 c. oil
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water

Pour above into 2 cups flour and 2 cups sugar. Add 1/2 cup buttermilk or sour milk.

Add:

1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs

Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees in greased, floured pan.

ICING:

4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 stick butter

Take off heat and add 1 lb. (3 1/2 cups) powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 1/2 cups nuts; spread on warm cake.

Note: You can be making icing while cake bakes and spread as it comes out of oven.
