1 c. water
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 sticks butter

Bring ingredients to a boil in a saucepan; butter need not melt.

2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Stir ingredients together in large bowl; pour in first mixture.

2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together ingredients and mix in with other ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes in greased jelly roll pan.

GLAZE:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 lb. confectioners sugar

Mix glaze together in saucepan. Pour over warm cake.
