CHOC-OAT-CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter, softened
1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. Quaker Oats, uncooked
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Nestle Toll-house morsels
1 c. chopped nuts

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat butter and sugars until creamy; add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well. Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oats, chocolate morsels and nuts; mix well. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 9-10 minutes for a chewy cookie or 12-13 minutes for a crisp cookie. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.

Makes about 5 dozen.
