GREEN TOMATO SWEET PICKLE 
One gallon green tomatoes sliced 1/4 inch thick. Let stand 24 hours in 2 gallons of lime water (3 cups lime to 2 gallons water). Remove and soak in clear water 4 hours, changing water every hour.

Remove from water and add: 3 pts. vinegar 1 box pickling spice (tie in cloth)

Bring to boil and let stand 24 hours. Cook 1 hour again and seal in hot sterilized jars.
