DELICIOUS GREEN BEANS 
2 slices bacon
1 can whole green beans
1/4 c. diced onion
1 tbsp. water
1 tsp. sugar
Slivered almonds

Fry bacon, drain off a portion of the bacon fat. Remove bacon and crumble. Add can of drained whole green beans after you've simmered the onions in the bacon fat. Add crumbled bacon pieces and slivered almonds. Simmer for 5 minutes. Mushrooms can be used also.
