HONOLULU CARROTS 
4 c. sliced carrots
1/2 tsp. salt
13 1/2 oz. can pineapple chunks
2 tbsp. butter

Drain pineapple, saving 1/3 cup juice. Combine carrots, salt, and 1/3 cup pineapple juice in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover and microwave on high 15-17 minutes. Stir once. Add butter and pineapple. Microwave on high 1 1/2 minutes to heat pineapple and melt butter.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
