60 MINUTE HOT ROLLS
2 pkgs. dry yeast
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. powdered dry milk
1 1/2 c. hot tap water
2 1/2 tbsp. melted butter
4 c. flour, sifted before measuring

Mix 1 cup flour, yeast, milk, sugar, and salt with the hot water. Add butter; cover mixture in bowl and let stand for 15 minutes. Add rest of flour and turn out on a board. Knead slightly; pat to 3/4 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on greased pan. Let rise 15 minutes (or longer). Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until slightly brown. (I cover mine with wax paper and a clean dish towel after brushing with butter to wait for serving.)
