FRESH APPLE BUTTER CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. peeled, chopped apples
2 c. chopped walnuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Combine dry ingredients, add to butter mixture. Add apples, nuts and vanilla. Pour into greased springform or tube pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
