POPCORN CAKE | |
1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. salad oil 5 to 6 c. popped popcorn 1 lb. marshmallows (not marshmallow cream) 1 c. nuts (not peanuts) 1 lb. gumdrops or M&M'S® (remove the licorice gumdrops) Mix butter, oil and marshmallows and melt over low heat. Pour this over rest of ingredients, which have been mixed together. Pack well in an angel food pan or make into balls. Let set overnight. Best to slice with electric knife. NOTE: At Christmastime, use red and green gumdrops or M&M'S®; Eastertime use colored gumdrops and pastel M&M'S®. |
