PUMPKIN BREAD | |
1 tsp. each vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon 1 1/2 tsp. salt 3 c. sugar (1 1/2 c. brown and 1 1/2 c. white) 1 c. Wesson oil 4 eggs 3 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. pumpkin 2/3 c. water 1 c. nuts Combine vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. Add salt, sugars, oil and eggs. Sift flour and baking soda; add to mixture, along with pumpkin, water and nuts. Mix well and pour into 3 greased and floured 1 pound coffee cans. Fill to little more than 1/2 full. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees. Remove from can and cool on side. |
