CINNAMON ROLLS
1 stick butter
1 c. milk
1 c. water
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 pkg. yeast
6-7 c. flour

In a small saucepan, melt butter, milk and water to a full boil. Cool to lukewarm. Then add rest of ingredients with about 6 to 7 cups of flour. Stir until mixed and put on floured board and knead dough. When thoroughly kneaded, let rise until double. Punch down and knead a little, using more flour if necessary. Roll out on board. Spread with melted butter, ground cinnamon, sugar and cardamom seeds. Roll jelly roll fashion. Cut in small round shapes. Fill a double sized cake pan with rolls. Let rise for 45 minutes and then bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.

This is a basic recipe and may be made into bread, dinner rolls or coffee cakes. For coffee cakes, roll up like cinnamon rolls; put ends together, slash with scissors about 2" apart. Fit in round cake pan.
