APPLE STRUDEL 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
2 egg yolks
8 tbsp. cold water
2 tsp. vinegar
8 med. apples

Mix flour, salt and shortening. Add slightly beaten egg yolks and water and vinegar. Chill.

Divide dough in half, roll out thin and spread into a greased cookie sheet with sides.

Sprinkle with apple slices. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar, 1 1/2 tablespoons flour and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.

Roll rest of dough and place on top. Bake 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Frost slightly with powdered sugar frosting.
