3 c. plain flour
5 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
2 3/4 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1 c. Crisco
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream Crisco and butter. Add sugar. Beat well. Add eggs one at a time, and beat after each egg. Add flour and milk alternately ending up with flour. Bake at 300 degrees in preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours.
