MARIA'S PINEAPPLE SHORTBREAD 
8 slices white bread
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter
cinnamon, for sprinkling

Break bread into small pieces and add pineapple. Beat eggs lightly and add to bread mixture. Stir in sugar and melted butter. Pour into a greased 10x10-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes.
