NO SALT SWEET PICKLES 
14 dill size cucumbers
1 qt. vinegar
8 c. sugar
Mixed pickling spices as you like

Wash cucumbers whole. Place in large stone jar or dishpan. Cover with boiling water for 4 days. Each day drain off the water and replace with fresh boiling water.

On the 5th day slice the cucumbers. Bring vinegar, sugar and spices to a boil. Pour over pickles. Reheat the vinegar mixture on the 6th and 7th day and pour it back over the pickles.

On the 8th day heat the mixture and simmer for 4 minutes then put the cucumbers in the jars and pour the heated mixture over the pickles. Seal. Very delicious.
