JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
STEP ONE:

3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 c. chopped apples

Mix ingredients and set aside.

STEP TWO:

3 c. unsifted flour
1 c. oil or melted butter
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
7 tbsp. orange juice

Mix ingredients in order listed in large bowl. Beat until smooth. If batter is too stiff, add more orange juice. Grease bundt pan and line bottom with wax paper. Start with batter for the first layer, then a layer of chopped apple mixture. Make sure you have batter left for the top layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Baking time may vary.
