JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
3 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. Crisco oil
4 lg. eggs
1/2 c. pineapple juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat all batter ingredients together for 10 minutes on medium speed.

FILLING:

4 lg. apples
1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. cinnamon

Grate apples and blend with sugar and cinnamon; set aside.

Pour half of batter into greased 10 inch tube pan. Pour half of apple filling over this. Then add rest of batter over this the remaining apple filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
