MERINGUE TOPPING | |
2 egg whites from lg. eggs 1/4 c. sugar Pinch of salt 2 tsp. cornstarch 1/3 c. hot water 1/2 tsp. vanilla Dissolve cornstarch in small amount of water. Add hot water and cook until thick. Add sugar and set aside to cool. Beat egg whites until stiff, then add the cornstarch mixture, the salt, and the vanilla. Spread over the filling and lightly brown in 375 degree oven. |
