HAPPY DAY CAKE 
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
3/4 tsp. orange extract
3/4 tsp. almond extract

Stir shortening to soften. Sift in dry ingredients. Add milk and extracts and mix until all flour is dampened. Beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat 1 more minute. Bake in horn pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool in pan 15 minutes.
