SWEET ROLL DOUGH 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 c. milk, scalded
3 c. cold water
2 lg. eggs
1 egg yolk
3 pkg. dry yeast
About 8 c. flour

Pour scalded milk over first 5 ingredients. Add water, eggs and stir; mix in yeast. Let stand 5 minutes and then a medium soft dough. Turn onto board and knead about 10 minutes. Allow to raise until double. Punch down and raise about 1/2 hour. Make into desired rolls. Raise. Bake at 375 degrees until brown. Ice as desired.
