ORANGE CONGEALED SALAD 
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, not drained
1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. pkg. orange Jello
2 c. cold water
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 c. chopped pecans

Bring pineapple and sugar to rolling boil. Remove from heat and add at once Jello and cold water and stir. Place in refrigerator until it starts to congeal. Fold in Cool Whip, cheese and pecans.
