BANANA SPLIT DESSERT 
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
5 tbsp. butter, melted (or 8 tbsp. butter)
2 c confectioners sugar
1/2 lb. butter
2 eggs
4 to 5 bananas
2 regular size cans crushed pineapple
1 lg. container Cool Whip
1 c. walnuts (broken pieces)
Maraschino cherries, cut into pieces

Mix together graham crackers and melted butter, and press onto bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Beat until fluffy, confectioners sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Spread over crust and chill for 1 hour. Slice bananas lengthwise and put on top of fluffy mixture. Place well-drained crushed pineapple on top of bananas; add walnuts on top of this. Place the cherries on top of the walnuts and Cool Whip. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Chill at least 3 to 4 hours.
