BEEF STEW 
2 lb. beef stew
1 onion, diced
1 stalk celery
6 or 8 carrots
Potatoes
Salt and pepper
2 tbsp. tapioca
1 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. tomato juice

Put beef stew and vegetables in small roasting pan. Over this sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar, 2 tablespoons tapioca. Pour 3/4 cup tomato juice over all. Cover tightly with foil and lid to roaster. Bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours.
