CURRIED SHRIMP 
1 1/2 lbs. or 4 c. cleaned cooked shrimp
1/2 c. chopped onion
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
4 c. milk

Cut shrimp in half if they are the large ones, leave medium and small whole. Fry onion in butter until tender; blend in flour and seasonings. Add milk gradually and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Add shrimp; heat. (Food coloring can be used). Serves 6.
